Anybody noticed the smell of Sparkel lemon soda?

OMG Modstar! Of all my friends on mylot,you come up with the most,ahem,"interesting" subjects.:) Wow! Hmmm. I don't know wtf "Humpty Dumpty" is and why anyone would want to eat it,whatever it is. And maybe "Sparkel" has not been brought to the US yet.Maybe they are test marketing it in your country. LoL!My sister brought back some "Inca Cola" from her trip to Peru. It looks like urine, but tastes like bubble gum. I have since seen it at Publix grocery stores for sale, but it used to be you couldn't buy it in the US. Inca Cola is made by the Coca-Cola company. I suffer from acid reflux, so usually do not drink carbonated beverages. Even vitamin water bothers me sometimes with the fruit juices. But next time I'm at the store i will look for "Sparkel." I wonder,with a name like that,if it's also good for scrubbing floors. Maybe I'll throw some in the dishwasher and do an experiment.:) Keep making me laugh modstar. It's 7am and this post in my email gave me a chuckle.

I haven't tried it though but I do agree with the Humpy Dumpy. Corn snack right? Uh-huh, smells like cat poop. But I don't know, I sort of liked it before when I knew it as CORN snack and not the-chips-which-smelled-like-poop. Now, I think I'd go for the safer-smelling ones. Ummm...how about Chippy?

Huh I knew it wasn't cheap for nothing. Looking at it discouraged me from having anything to do with it, let alone smelling it. I couldn't believe or understand how Coke came up with this product. At least we had fun laughing about the corn snack while we were snacking on it...

Hello modstar! Oh my! Are you serious? Honestly, I did not notice it. I rarely drink sparkle but I don't smell anything. Well thanks for this discussion, maybe I won't drink sparkle anymore.

Eeeewwww.....that's horrible! I'm not a huge soda drinker, but if I see that one in a store, I'm NOT buying it! Hmmmmm...although keeping one on hand (and a Humpy Dumpy) to serve unwanted and unexpected company has it's merits......lol

hi there modstar! hmm... i wonder why that product smells weird there. in my case, when i took a vacation last month in cebu, i got hold of that soft drink. and it doesn't smell like urine. it smells a bit like mountain dew and tastes almost like mountain dew, only less sour. that's why i was hooked on that urine, i mean drink (LOL!) while i was in cebu. if i may ask, where are you right now? maybe that would provide a clue as to why your version of that soft drink smells like wee... =) anyways, thanks for reading and happy mylotting!

"Tinkle Sparkle" (reminding me of Charlottes Web music) I had a nursing instructer tell me that fresh urine is very aromatic... it is only the bacteria that makes it smell... I think the bacteria effects it immediately upon leaving the body! I do not know about sparkle, I have never even seen the product let alone smell it - but I am not in any hurry to test the accuracy of your nasal sensibilities.

You mean that cheap green bottled soda? Really? Now that makes me not want to drink it anymore.. lol

Well i have to say i have not had that pleasure and dont think i want to either.that just sounds so nasty why would any body make some thing that has such a awful smell.

Wow, I've never liked that product but this is the first time I've come across someone having this kind of complaint about Sparkle. I might try and open one tomorrow. I drink only Mountain Dew if I crave for lemon drinks, however. Cheers!

I live in the U.S. and have not heard of either of these coke products. I only drink colas so I would not know if we have a coke product that is similar or not. I know that I would not interested in a product like this.
