Do you think we can live from online earning?

I wonder if we can make our living from the money that we got from online earning only. I mean, I know because I have heard it in the other forums that we can earn for our living in the internet, because many people have left their real world job to focus themselves in the online business. They made it.
I want to know whether we can do that too, or it is only for some people with money?
I wonder what kind of online money making program could make the best income for us.

If you want a full-time salary from the internet, you'll pretty much have to work at it full time! Just like anything else, there are occasionally lucky people, but most of us have to put in the time and effort.

Of course I was thinking of being a full time online worker. I believe I would be able to earn much more if I am being fulltime than being a part time online worker. I know that it wouldn't be so easy to do that but some people were able to make it and I wonder how can I make it that way. Thanks Spike for the response, I really appreciated it.
