Laptop gaming rigs

I now am currently looking into a laptop that can run cod4, cod5, and bioshock perfectly. I have been looking all over and I finally decided that I'm going for an alienware laptop. Is this the smartist move? Will a nvidia 8600 with 256 mb of ram be enough or will I need to upgrade to a higher graphics card? Are there any other gaming laptops with the same quality as alienware out their for cheaper? I looked at the recommended specs for those games and the alienware laptops seem to have the right hardware. Can anyone shoutout if alienware just won't cut?
