for every good word you spoke honestly, and took ONE CENT for every bad word you spoke in your lifetime, would you be rich or poor?

I would be rich. I am a very honest person, sometimes to a fault. I could not lie to save my own rear.

but telling the truth honestly, does not necessarily mean saying something good, right? :P

Hello oyenkai! If God will paid me one cent, probably I would be rich. I will try to speak good all the time, although because we're not perfect, I can say that maybe I can say some small bad things. I think God do pays us for all the good things that we did but in a different way I guess.

I'd be in a lot of trouble. I'd probably owe Him a lot of money!

probably time for an attitude readjustment then? LOL

Nah, my attitude is fine, I'm just judgemental and angry sometimes... probably more often than I should. Plus, even when I'm in a good mood, I just find it hard to commpliment people, it's sort of this quirk I have. I guess I wasn't loved enough as a child, lol.

Hahaha if you turned out well, then I think you were loved enough :P Giving complements was something I had to learn on my own - talking nice is something else and I had more difficulty in learning that. It all paid out because it made interacting with people more efficient and more pleasant :D But if you're happy with yourself, then cheers!

I'd probably break even. I'll admit that I've said my share of bad things to people, but I've also said my share of good things to people. So, God and me would probably be even.

I'm sure we could. It's something we can both try to work at.

I hope I'd at least break even. Most of my life I've been good, but there have been times recently where I've spoken poorly about others.

It's nice that you recognize both your good deeds and your faults :D and that you actually have the courage to examine yourself!

WOW! What a great perspective you have introduced. I would have to say that I would probably be poor. But you have certainly made me think about it. We should all think like this. Happy Mylotting!

Are you kidding me. I would be filthy rich. I hardly say anything bad and most of my words are used to help others. I live my life as a testimony to others and try my best to live right. I do have to admit though that when I get very angry or extremely scared I may use bad words a lot. But only once that happened to me when a snake chased. But that's another story. Maybe I'll post about it sometime. Take care everyone and happy my lotting. Be careful little mouths what you speak. lol

Wow good question, but I'd probably be somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't be rich and I wouldn't be poor. I say alot of good things then bad, but I have my moments.

I don't think I'd be rich but I'd probably be better off than I am now, just working my job. I'm a pretty genuine person but I do say some mean things when I'm angry.

I think i would be rich; not just by the number of cents that i will collect at the end of it all, but also by the number of lies that i did not speak in my life. It is a wonderful thought Oyenkai! It is as sparkling as the picture in your profile dear friend! Always keep up this spirit alive! I am sure, you will have many cents and many smiles to add around you.

Probably, I will owe God more because of my bad attitude. I admit I'm not a perfect one, and I know for each day I wake up, sins are getting out of myself. We are so lucky that God doesn't have that idea. Because if He had that idea, probably I'm already broke right now...
