Does anyone else have a problem with OTX surveys?!

I've begun just rejecting links to OTX. No matter what the subject matter--detergents, life insurance, clothing, tv habits, etc--OTX rejects me after I indicate that I have had some college education. I refuse to lie and make that part of my life (which I'm very proud of) a non-issue. Anyone else have issues with OTX? I've counted and sometimes they take up 12-20 screens before they reject me and reward me with NOTHING!!

i agree the only ones I usually qualify for are the movie trailer surveys. If I am directed to surveys hosted by otx and they aren't movie surveys I don't do them unless its through survey sites like GlobalTestMarket that give you 5 points even if you don't qualify... in that case I just go to the survey and make myself get disqualified by check "prefer not to answer" to all the questions I can. If I'm not gonna qualify for their surveys why give them that info? OTX really has taken over a quite a few survey sites, greenfield and opinion outpost are a couple of them.

Dollar Surveys has quite a few from Greenfield-which rarely pays you anything but sweepstakes entries-and they pay you a dollar if you complete them. Say Nation also has Greenfield surveys and you make points redeemable for gift cards. I quit Greenfield long ago because they offered little but entries.

Haha, I totally agree with you - and I ALSO refuse to lie. I actually like doing surveys (at least when I qualify for them). The big problem is that I don't have kids and that I'm caucasion (these are usually the things that set off the surveys and disqualify me). *sigh*. The biggest issue I have is when it tells you that you're "pre-qualified" to take the survey, and then you somehow end up not being able to take it anyway. That drives me NUTS. Ugh.

Opinion Place is good, as is Dollar Surveys. I don't really enjoy taking surveys but I do like the rewards!

I have a few sites that send me to those, I try them sometimes but only qualify once in a great while. It does get aggravating.

I wonder how OTX stays in business! It's very frustrating so I just ignore them.

I've never heard of OTX, but I sympathise! I've had a similar issue with a few of the survey companies which I'm registered with, since I had my most recent birthday. I'm obviously no longer in their 'target' group very often. Considering that they know my age, it really annoys me that they bother sending me the survey invitation and wasting my valuable time before they reject me.

Me, too. They want a younger respondent, usually. I'm 54 now and I could make a lot more money if I weren't so old!

I have the same issue, dragon54u - but lucky me, I usually get just a few screens, so I guess I haven't wasted that much time. Nevertheless is still frustrating. I was unable to complete any OTX survey. I'm always disqualified after answering questions about where I live, my race and age, and few similar ones. Why they even bother to send those invitations? When people register with certain panels they give all the information about themselves, so they should receive invitations based on that info. I've read someone's complaints about OTX surveys, but I was a member already so I wanted to give it a try. I'm going to stick around for while and see what happens, but I have no high hopes.

I make some decent money at several survey sites. I'd be glad to send you the list if you make a friend request. I wonder how OTX gets any respondents. I've also noticed that a lot of survey sites want Hispanic respondents lately, probably because that part of our population is growing so quickly.
