waving somebody....

yesterday i was sitting in beside my hubby in a car when i suddenly recognize someone along the road and i eagerly wave to her and smile..to my dismay she did not wave back to me and not even a smile but just stared at me ...my gosh !! and i dont even know her as i looked closely on her face...what about you guys? any similar experience and what did you feel??

hi vanities ... i have noticed people looking very similar to my friends .. but thank god i never get exited n wave at them ..

Hello vanities. I can understand what you have experienced because there were times when I greeted to the wrong person without any reaction from the other. I felt very embarrassed for what I did. LOL

Opps! Well I think it may be embarrassing but hey everybody is entitled to commit mistakes from time to time. I guess the person you waved at will be amazed but I guess that person would even forget your face already. So I guess there's no fuss about it anymore. Well I have not experience that at all. I may have recognized someone falsely but I never tried to greet them or wave at them until I could see their faces and confirm it that it is them.

It happened to me, I was walking in the downtown area and I saw this girl whom I thought was my classmate in College, I was smiling a lot and waving to her but she was looking at me wondering who am I! LOL!
It was very embarrassing that I want to hide and run! LOL! [/i]

Hello vanities,
I will turn red! Bad thing about me, whenever I am driving I won't look or wave or smile or honk at other people on the road whom I know or whom I think I know. Yes, very bad! Even if I see someone and I am not too sure whether she is someone that I knew before, I will not make the first move. Well, maybe I am just not that friendly

Hello vanities! Gee, what you experienced was embarassing. It never happened to me though but I do think it's possible. I may be very careful next time..hehehe..

Hey vanities! A case of mistaken identity! I know how that
can be embarrassing, but so what! There are alot of things
that could be worse! The good news is you will never see
that person again in your lifetime so you can just forget
that it ever happened! I am very careful about things like
that because I have really bad vision! I can't seem to see
with or without my glasses so even when someone waves to me
and calls my name I'm not really sure if I know them!
