When you use a public bathroom how do you flush the toilet?

I'm not one of those clean freaks but I tend to do the paper towel for the door thing. I'm one of those people that could go a day without brushing their teeth or can use their own bathroom and not wah their hands, but a public bathroom is completely different.

The public bathrooms here the flusher is a like a foot pedal which you press with your feet so you dont have to touch them.

I always flush it....but i usually use my foot...some naaaaaaaaaaaaasty johns out there!!!...I went to this bar that was so bad...u hadda stand 3 feet from the urinal so the crabs wouldnt jump on ya!...lol

Wow a true confession there . At last I ammnot alone in my secet. Even I feel that they are dirty especially In India. We love to display our garbage to people. Its always strewn around everywhere. I dont trust toilets too, I prefer not to use them. Very rarely I go.

I use my foot as well, or if i'm lucky they are the self flushing ones. On the other hand, i have a pet peeve here. Girls that hover over the toilet to pee, for the love of god, MAKE IT INTO THE TOILET. Girls are so foul in the bathroom. They splash all over the seat, the other day i stumbled across a public facility and the toilets were unusable, filled with feminine hygeine products, blood and other body um.. nasty things.

You have to love the bathrooms with the automatic flush sensors. The automatic soap dispensers. The automatic water faucets. Now they even have automatic paper towel dispensers. Haha! It would be pretty cool once they have automatic doors too.

I also use my foot to flush. I try not to touch anything unless I have too. I always wash my hand too, it amazes me how many women use the bathroom and don't wash their hands. That is unreal gross, imagine all the germs they are passing around. I think the womens restrooms are nastier then the mens and thats a shame.

LOL, When I HAVE to use one..I have a STRICT procedure that I follow. grab paper towel push door open with foot,lock door with paper towel,NEVER sit down--always "hover" over seat--I have perfected my aim!!lol-- rip off first several pieces of toiletpaper--(someone else probably has touch them getting there's-ewww) kick start the flusher-wont touch the handle,take the paper towel that was sitting on the toilet paper dispenser I used prior and open the door head to grab another paper towel to turn on sink wash hands with soap then grab another paper towel to turn of sink grab more to drry hands and use those to open the door to leave.after all that I still feel icky using them!!!!My friends laugh at me..I dont care !! ;)

Same here, plus i work in a hospital sooo... twice as disease infested. :)

That's a good idea, some public bathrooms are nasty!

If there’s toilet paper, I’d take a piece and use it to flush then drop it in so it can flush down too. I’d use tissue to touch the door too.

I try never to use a public restroom but when I do, I use my foot to flush it. Public restrooms are so gross!

I use my hand then wash them, but most of the time when I go to a certain restroom in a shopping mall or something it flushes automatically, they have the same type of como in walmart it flushes by itself.

Sometimes I use my foot but if there are paper towels handy that I can grab without touching anything else I will use that

Most of the public bathrooms I use now have those automatic flush toilets. But otherwise I'd use a piece of tiolet paper to flush it. I don't even sit on the tiolet seat, LOL. By the way, my daughters name is Sophie as well (actually it's Sophia, but we call her Sophie sometimes!)

I do that too, flushing with my foot. The other night there were only 2 nasty toilets in a public restroom and I had to go bad and the drive home was over an hour. I picked one where you couldn't see anything nasty in it, just paper. When I flushed I made the mistake of looking, and there was poo swirling around in there and I didn't poo! It was so gross! Nasty nasty nasty!

we have got all the self flushing ones here..but rarely if its manual i dont flush at all...its irresponsible people like me who make em nasty!
