we have read that it is the love of money, and not money itself ,that is the root of all evil.if you love money more than you do god then the result will be evil. so in your opinion ,many organizations beg for it????

They too have bills to pay. A church has to pay for heat and lights and all the printed materials and mission trips ect. There is no way around it. Everyone has bills to pay and the organization wouldn't be able to keep doing what it thinks is the right thing to do without funding.

I am a Catholic and its true that the LOVE of Money is the root of all evil. It is not the money itself that is evil, but instead of LOVE for it that is evil. Religious organization asked (rather than beg) or raised funds and money because in reality we do need money to survive. An organization do need money to operate daily and to function normally. Without money, how can we have the places to worship etc? But asking for money and needing money is DIFFERENT from LOVING the money itself.

Churches use the money that is donated to them to help people who are in need, and to support missionaries. Churches also have the same bills to pay that businesses and households have to pay. They have electric, phone, water, waste disposal, and internet bills to pay. They also pay dues to groups such as local baptist associations, and state organizations. Many of them also send monthly or quarterly donations to Christian colleges or seminary schools (schools that pastors attend). Other expenses include Sunday School/Bible study books, audio/video equipment, and office supplies. Salaries for pastors and other church staff may also be paid, and some churches even pay a small housing allowance to help pastors pay their personal bills, or perhaps provide the pastor with a car. All of the money paid out for these expenses and donations to organizations and missions is paid out of the money that is given to the church through tithes and offerings, or perhaps even money that is raised through fund-raising events. Most people don't realize it, but it takes a lot of money to maintain and operate a church. The only reason I know about all of this stuff is because I used to hold a position is a church my wife and I attended. Until that time, I never really gave it a whole lot of thought either...

Well religious organizations need money to pay their expenses. They also have own family to provide their need before the other expenses. Most of it don't earn money from people but they want these people to be enlightened. They benefit from this people by giving them the Word of God.

YOur supose to give 10% of what you earn. So if that is money then that is what you give. Way back it was animals and so on. Money is not the root of all evil it is the people behind it only some of them. Have you sen or heard of what they do with there money. they do alot. they feed the homeless and give out clothes and so on. You have a great day.

Greed not money is the root cause of all evil. This is fancy line used by people like me who do not have enough money,Since the majority of population is poor they have held on religiously to the above statement. You need money to print bibles & to build temples too. My friend puts in beautiful words. He says " I do not need money at all, but i earn because my milkman needs money, my grocer, my airlines, the waiter etc need money. I earn for them as they refuse to to give me anyting free".
