why is my internet so slow???

It depends on somany things.Depends on your processor,connection,and other harware.May be sometimes it is because of your isp

there are a lot of factors and reasons 1. theres might be a lot of viruses, spyware, trojans etc on your pc. 2. your internet service provider (ISP) may running slow or there is what you call interference like mountain, building that is blocking the signal of your internet if your having wireless broadband if your line other factors maybe the cause. 3. there might be a lot of programs running simultaneously in your pc or having a slow memory possible solutions: 1. you can try the first solution stated by the first comment to know the speed of your internet in your own country ( not a 100% reliable) 2. you can use a premium antivirus program to scan unwanted viruses, trojons etc. in your pc 3. scandisk and defrag all your drives regularly 4. try some internet booster try to download in torrent sites be careful you might download a virus... 5. ask your internet service provider of course 6. check the specs of your pc for needed ipgrading for faster results especially the RAM. 7. still slow last choice is to reformat your pc (recommneded WINXP) hope this helps somehow

there can be many reasons for the slow speed....why dnt you try to give a more specification of your laptop and internet connection..this may help us..else it is very difficult to even guess a reason...thanks happy mylotting

maybe you internet connection it slow, or maybe there is a typhoon coming in. Try calling you internet connector.
