There are a number of symptoms which 'could' indicate Fibromyalgia, however i'm always concerned with posts like this that people of a hypercondriac nature are merely looking for a disease with which they can associate a variety of symptoms common to basic afflictions like a cold. Generally it is considered to be a widespread chronic pain, with elements of fatigue, stiffness of joints and sleeping problems. There are however (as with most conditions) a myriad of other symptoms which may be felt. These include bowel and bladder issues, tightness of the throat, numbness, tingling etc. As stated first it is important when considering symptoms to be realistic in how you feel before trying to match symptoms with diseases and syndromes as mentally diagnosing yourself can do more damage than the symptoms themselves. http://altmedangel.com/fibromya.htm that has a list of symptoms.. there are several treatments which include medication or physical therapy, diet, exercise etc and it can be hard to find the one that will work with you but you just have to try them all and see.. if you want to get diagnosed or see if you have it then go to a rheumatologist or neurologist that believes in it and tell them what you are having symptom wise.. some times its really hard to get a diagnoses due to ignorant doctors but you can search and there are some websites that will give you a list of doctors that acknowledge it and therefore would be able and willing to say if you have it.. good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.. ive had it all my life
