I speak English as my native language. I can read French, and get by speaking it, and I also know some sign language. Learning another language is very enriching, because a language isn't just words ... it's also a part of the culture of the people who speak it. Learning a language is like opening a door into a new culture.

English is my main.. i can't really speak any others but a few words in german and i was learning some Irish but i've kind of forgotten now because i didn't keep up with it.... i would like to learn other languages but i think i'm one of those people who just can't learn a second language. it would be nice to learn/know one but don't have time and find it really hard to learn them. it's always best to learn as kid because its easier then when your an adult to try and learn them

I'm English, but studied both French and German at school. I enjoy languages and often attempt to learn at least common phrases in other languages. In the past i've picked up bits and pieces of Arabic, Italian, Spanish and Chinese. In all these cases its been down to the fact that colleagues and clients sometimes struggle with English, but they regardless they have the patience to learn, so why not reciprocate by learning the basics of theirs :)

I speak two languages. English as my native tongue and Spanish as my second language. It's great to learn other languages because it really broadens your horizon. And it's a good thing that I learned spanish. Because right now in my country of Trinidad and Tobago a lot of people are requiring spanish in order to employ you because Venezuela is very close to us. I would love to try spanish rap and learn another language. It's great that you know so many languages. Keep it up. Maybe in a couple of years you may be a translator for the president. That would be cool.
