I used to be those people who cannot be without a phone. I needed the phone because my colleagues and clients will call my phone regardless of the time... But now, I'm in a different job and I actually left my phone a few times at home before.. And I'm still here.. I won't die without my phone.. And yes, I have left my phone deliberately when I go out as well.. :) So yes, I would be able leave my phone at home for a day and go out.. interesting topic.. Thanks!! Happy New Year!

haha i get the message, the key word there was "the producer" in that kinda world you can be fired for leaving your cellphone home and play with your kitty. like every minute counts information should be properly dispatched. i was one an assistant set decorator and one time i left my phone in the office and i was at the other building prepping for the next scene. back to the headquarters i didnt know that everybody was looking for me, i was so embarrassed that i wanted to lock my self in the pantry. good thing our PD was nice. ^_^

I think nowadays, nobody would ever leave their phone at home. When cellphones are just starting out like year 2000, I sometimes just leave my phone at home but now? It is a big NO NO, because every time someone tries to contact you, you have to have your cellphone, or if there is a big emergency, you have to have your cellphone. You can't leave the house without your phone, it is a fact that cannot be taken away.
