Are you good at saving money?

i'm really good, i had to learn quick to save money. i'm a single mom and i'm in college. i've been refused for a loan and have no income. i work in the summer and have to save every penny to barely get by during the 8 months of college

I can save up money real quick if I really want to, but I do have my spending spree moments as well especially when I'm depressed. Yes, I'm an emotional spender. Anyway, this year I've set my sights on a DSLR and this will really test my saving abilities. Cheers~

Hi! When I put my mind to saving, I am good at saving money despite the bills I have to pay. I know I can do it if I am determined to do it. These days, times are hard and the money I get from my paycheck would end up paying bills. I don't actually spend for myself anymore (clothes, accessories, etc). Still, I know that if I want something, I can save for it. What I do now is what little money I get from my online activities which go to my paypal account, I don't touch. That way, I can touch this when I want to purchase something or when there's a sudden need for cash. Happy myLotting!

I am good at it when there is money to save. Things are so tight right now that there is very little left to just save. I don't spend on nonsense things very often at all and if I do get some extra cash, I do try to put it aside.

Hi ya apples99 If I want something specific and have to save for it then I will. My dad gave me a fair amount of money for my birthday last March and it is still sitting in the bank. I haven't added to it and I haven't taken any from it because I don't know what to spend it on!! If I have any money left over at the end of each week I try to put it in a box and that is how I bought a lot of my Christmas gifts last year!

I used to be a spender and now I try to be a saver but we don't have money to save. It all goes to bills and neccessary things.

I'm not so bad at saving money. I can save it and I have a nice stash of money right now. Sometimes I do spend a lot more than I intend on doing but I never spend large amounts and I try really hard to not make a habit of spending a lot of money all the time. Like you said, you just never know when something will happen when you'll need extra money, so I try to save when I can.
