This morning we were discussing what things we usually buy from the internet. Some said books, other said clothes or shoes. However a colleague of mine said that he bought a garage door because it was cheaper to buy it online than from Malta even when adding postage fees. Everybody had a good laugh. We were imagining a postman on a bicycle knocking on his door saying hi ... here is your door. What is the most strangest thing you have bought online?

Supplies to deal with a cat urine problem... anybody who has an animal "going" in in appropriate places, check out planeturine.com (not a ref link lol), they have all kinds of great ideas! We also bought my daughter a metal detector. And butterflies.... We hatched them and then released them.

That is a funny thought. We bought a 'Super King Size Bed' when we found all 3 kids in bed with us and we were getting pushed out of a normal double sized bed. Guess what, the day after we placed the order, the kids decided that all 3 in our bed at the same time wasn't a good idea and since then it has never been all 5 of us again! We get 1 or 2 of them, but not usually all 3 at the same time! Typical!! Violetdreams

Cthulhu - cuddly toy Cthulhu.
probably the oddest would be a cuddly toy Cthulhu. nothing is as cute as a soft and cuddly depiction of a soul eating demon. hehe.

I do agree with you. If it is cheaper and the delivery is efficient than I think it is more worht it to buy online than from a normal store at your locality. You don't have to go out of your home.

I bought a blow up doll as a gag gift and gave it to a person I won't mention, lol. As he hadn't had a girlfriend in a long time I got this for him and said he now had a girl.

Thank you ron, she was his first "true" love. They were together for just over 2 years. He has that same problem as other in the presicament, no one compares to the love of his life. He wants a family, they never had a baby. It's hard for him but he has friends and family to help him through it. Every year at that time when we lost her he gets upset. It's hard because she hung herself and he's the one that found her. SO that image is set in his mind forever.

The strangest thing I ever bought online was Saddam Hussein toilet paper. I got it for my uncle for Christmas. I always bought him something funny for Christmas, like a gag gift. And one year it was Sadam Hussein toilet paper. Pretty fitting for 'ol Saddam's face to be.

Hmmm... I've purchased books and CDs online. I bought some art materials as well as pouches, girly dresses, bracelets and even flowers for my Mom. I don't think I've purchased "strange" things online YET. But you're right, that's really funny about the door being delivered by a postman.

Thanks for your feedback. I don't buy "strange" things online. Most of the times I buy either books or a gift from my son.

Hi there, ronaldinu! I suppose a lifelike stuffed cat would qualify as strange. You see, I've always wanted a cat, but am not confident in my ability to care for one. I was browsing one of my catalog sites last year and they had these delightful stuffed cats that purr and move, so I bought myself one. So, I have my cat without the fuss.

I guess I've never really bought anything strange online. Just the usual things. Wait, I did buy a car part when I was married--my husband at the time had a beautiful old Barracuda and the only place he could get the part he needed was on eBay. So I guess that's strange enough! The old car is still running and he's still enjoying it!

I can think of a few strange things. Well, maybe some people may not consider it strange, but it's definitely something that will make you go hmmm, interesting... 1) A blood pressure cuff with the stethscope already inside of it, talk about accurate results. 2) Remote controlled vibrating panties (for my girlfriend). lol

I haven't bought a lot of things off the internet - books, stuff for our cell phones, stuff like that. So I guess the strangest thing we have bought off the internet would be prescription swim goggles. They're so much cheaper online.

I once purchased a bottle of chilli sauce which was contained inside a miniature coffin. It was supposed to be very, very hot...(as hot as hell) but while it WAS hot, it wasn't SUPER hot. It made my partner sweat a fair bit but there were no tears in his eyes.

It is really fun! I want to tell you that a colleague of mine had told me that she bought a bed from the internet and some funitures too, sounds crazy! Oh, you as well can imagine that a postman drive a truck to send her goods, all the things in the truck owned to her, do you think this conditon just like moving house! usually I get some litttle and cheaper things from the internet. First I have a glance in the shopping center and record the price of the things I need, then i go back home and look for the things which I saw in the entities shops from the internet, it must be cheaper form the internet even add the postage fees. It is a great method to get your love things

I tried to buy a part for my X box one time, but the guy never sent me the thing that I bought. Neither did he cash the moneyorder I sent. I had to wait a full year with the receipt from the moneyorder. Then I had to go into the bank and have the money put back into my account. I figured I didn't get what I wanted, why should he have my money too? I can't beleive I had to wait one whole year, though. I bet the bank was surprised to see me back. haha. It wasn't that much money. It was the principle of the thing, you know?
