I live in a small midwest town where the people outnumber the jobs by a pretty big percentage. I have a family to raise and my wife is working her tail off for us to barely get by. I am actively seeking a job but the prospects are not so good. I need your help in finding a site that could poentially pay a decent amount of money, like maybe enough to pay an electric bill. Thanks.

Hello timmons, there's definite lots of sites that will allows you to make an income online fulltime or part time, it all depends on what kind of work you would like to get into..I am a wahm running a blog myself gathered towards moms but dads are certainly welcome also, it list several work at home options that are all legit and free to join or apply for, such as telecommute jobs, paid survey directory and more, also a few sites for a freelancing careers. Like a few others already have pointed out, your writing skills seems to be good, so maybe that would be a good option for you..I still have a few other earning opportunities available that needs to be listed on my blog, so feel free to stop by later on. Good luck, Maja

I'm judging from just one short post, but you write well, and could probably make enough money to help out by writing online. Associated Content is a good place to start because most of the sites that are popular only pay pennies for page views, and it can take a long time to make any real money. If you live in the US, you can get upfront pay for your AC articles, plus gradually accumulate a bonus for page views. Some people make close to a full-time living there, but that takes a lot of effort and a long time to build up. The site isn't the easiest to learn, but it's reliable. Most people write for more than one site, but I recommnd starting with one, and learning the ins and outs of online writing before you branch out.

If you don't mind spending your time taking online surveys, you can get paid reasonably. You can not get rich by taking surveys, but definitely your electric bill will be covered by this extra income. Try it. Start from great company like pinecone research. Now they are recruiting. Usually it is hard to find their signup link, but now you can find it at following site. Here is a free list of legitimate survey companies. http://surveycrawler.blogspot.com
