I am so annoyed!!

I AM BROKE! My parents are broke. Not for lack of trying but because they both only work factory jobs and within the past two years have both lost their jobs and had to start ALL OVER! So what angers me is that I fill out my fasfa and my parents last year made a combined 53000 and FASFA did not give me crap and said that my parents should have contributed 12000 to my education! Are you freaking kidding me! And my boyfriend just calls mad his friend who's parents have a 85,000 RV and drive BMW;s and Lexus just got a grant and only had to pay $800 for school this semester. So what is the deal. Why is it that you cant get any help unless you are dirt dirt poor or have children its not fair. I feel like I am being punished for doing things correctly and being lower middle class! It is completely not fair and I am so aggravated. I am sorry for ranting and if anyone knows of any sites to try and get grants or whatever please share or explain logically to me why some of us get screwed and others get the glory :(!
