I think it will be interesting. The people who stayed behind do have added stress to not only stay on for themselves, but if they want the partner to come back they can't get kicked off. I am not sure about this new turn of events. guess we will have nto wait the 30 days.

Great, just what they need. More stress for a group of people who are all on the verge of a heart attack anyway.

I was really dissapointed with the new twist to the show. Those people wanted to come to The Biggest Loser to lose weight cause they had a hard time doing it on their own at home so they go very excited that they will be working with personal trainers to get the weight off only to be sent home the very first week for really no reason. I am very disappointed in the show for doing that.

I can understand what they're trying to do but I don't like it, especially this early in the season. If they had waited awhile, then maybe I could see it. I don't know if some of these people are going to make it on their own at home just after one week. Hopefully their weight loss so far will be a movitation to keep going and get right back into the game if they come back. The one team I can see hurting from this is the silver team. I just can't see Joelle pulling it out to bring her friend back. We've already seen in the previews that Bob just completely snaps and it's Joelle that he's yelling at. Again, I understand why they made the decision to keep Joelle there instead but it may hurt them if she doesn't have the drive to do it, even with Bob breathing down her neck. Who knows? Maybe she'll surpise us and make it. Right now she just doesn't seem as committed as the others.

I would have been really bummed out if I were one of the ones going home. Despite it being a "team" game, there is a huge personal component and having to go home without really being eliminated is just plain wrong.

We had a copied version of this show in India. There were really huge contestants selected and these twists were usual for them. These stuff makes the show interesting according to the producers.. So expect more.. BTW the winner of the show in India now weighs aroound 75 kg only and is pursing as an actor leaving behind his regular office routine work.

I was a bit surprised with the twist but as I thought about it, I 'm not really sure how fair it is. It just seems that these people really needed to stay on this show as long as possible. I think I would have rather had no elimination this week and a double elimination for next week. I've heard alot of negative response to last season because the contestants were so flat out manipulative and all into gameplay. I guess this will minimize the whole alliance thing and put it more trainer vs trainer again. I don't know it just didn't sit well with me. I'll have to think about it some more.
