2008 has been a pretty bad year for me. My financial net worth dropped a whopping 30-40% due to failing stock market. It's my mistake but it's a very good lesson learnt. Since then, I've managed to see things in a clearer way and also to do proper research and planning before I commit to something. I feel I've learnt a lot in 2008 though mostly from the hard way. Well, at least I am a lot more fortunate than many people who have since lost their jobs and also those people who suffered heavy losses in Sichuan. In 2009, I plan to work harder and pursue my dreams. Of course, earning more money and improving my overall financial net worth are equally important but I have to plan for long-term.

I am back to the traditional thinking. Getting down to concrete work instead of fast seemingly booming to wealth. Start from low, accumulate knowledge and experience as foundation for opportunities which we should not lose at any rate.
