what will be thet age to stop feeding the babies?

My son is going to be 3 years he still sucks I am really fed up of this...though I do so many things to divert his habit its unsuccessful. What should I do?

I have a friend whi has a child still feeding & she said that the mother herself has to let go. she has fed 2 other children also. She said that the children do get attached but once the mother emotionally lets go the child will too.

ok, thanks for your advice I will try and am trying also but nothing seems to work I have tried by putting bitter gourd juice and scolding and pulling him away .....still not working..
