Does your baby love chasing after the vaccum?

When my 3 year old was a year old, we had this vaccum that he would scream in terror and do anything to get away from it. But, his baby brother loves the monster. He never was troubled by it. Infact, when I start it, he crawls over to it as quickly as he can and "talks" to it as the motor is running. The baby even loves it when I suck his fingers with the hose. Two brothers but different in this situation. *Pleiades

Hello, in fact I have a 8 month old son who loves the vacuum. He will even wait till I get close to him and he will try to catch it. It is just too cute. But his older brother who will be 3 soon hated it when he was a baby he in fact would scream and cry every time I swept the floor. That is strange that we have the same experience between our boys. I thought maybe it was just my boys that were like. that. This is just too cute. Well I gotta say that this was a good topic. Happy Mylotting

HAHA! Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one with children as nutty and as weird as mine. I thought it was a fluke that the older would act one way and the younger would act the other. But, no...it isn't. My baby just turned a year old and already he's interrested in using a fork. His brother didn't care to until he was 18 months old. Babies are different. *Pleiades

Yes they are different. My 8 month old is in too wanting to use forks. It's strange how children can be siblings yet act so different. Thanks for the best Response. Happy Mylotting

My "baby" is a year and a half old cocker spaniel. Her name is Piper. and I had to giggle when I came up on this discussion because she does indeed HATE the vaccum cleaner. She will chase after it as soon as it comes on and she will bark and try to bite at it and everything. It is hilarious to watch her. Have a great night!

Aawww...I see your "baby" in the picture with you. Pets are children too, in a sense. I remember seeing a video of someone mopping their floors and their small dog attacked it and held on tightly with her teeth. So, the owners continued to mop, with dog in tow. It was hiliarious. Thank you, Marci for adding your response and you too, have a great night. *Pleiades
