expiry date of drugs

I know a lot of people will throw out medication as soon as it reaches it's expiration date. I myself, I will take it even afterwards. I usually don't take that much medication, so I rarely finish my meds before they expire. I don't mind taking them after the date. Especially if it is vitamins or something to that extent.
