Yes, it isn't true!
As documented in an internationally respected journalistic publication, beings of higher intelligence from outer space, are covertly sending the people of earth an important message. To save the planet, burn more coal and oil! This has to be case. You will understand why after reading this article.

I say that since the alien prime directive, just like the one from STAR TREK, forbids the super smart aliens from speaking to us directly, the clever little green/grey men have found a way to indirectly tell us the important truth that we must burn more coal & oil. Why else would they destroy a windmill? A windmill whose main purpose is to allow earthlings to burn less coal and oil? Only we can save the earth. Turn up your thermostats and plan a long trip in your car. Buy a private jet, for the planet, even if you really can not afford it. Everyone must do their part.
What do you say?

Wow, you'd make a good source of energy yourself! However, we want clean non-poluting energy.

Seriously, have you heard of the proposed tax on cow farts? I'm not kidding. The EPA has people wanting to have a head tax on cows to protect the evironment from the excessive amount of methane cows emit into the atmosphere. Cynics think it is merely a move to help big agriculture destroy the small producer and eliminate competition. Call me a cynic.

Hi Red
Little Green Men and Farts aside, I want to know what busted the windmill. That little old lady should have heard or seen something. All little old ladies are nosey and she said she didn't hear anything. The picture that someone took is just water vapor refraction from the clouds. Its nothing. I hate it when something weird happens and no one ever finds out what caused it.

The blades on these things are fiberglass. They get one really good bird strike or have one little flaw and the constant motion and vibration will tear them apart. It is not that unusual for these things to fail.

That windmill is just about as useful now as it was before it got damaged.
The whole windfarm thing is nothing more than an overrated scam, and they are not dependable.

Actually, I've looked into it. Basically you are right. Ever see those big fields of them out west? Know why so many are not running? They get a tax credit for installing them, but their usefullness in keeping them repaired is determined only by their profitability and practicality. Utilities find they mostly are not worth repairing and maintenance is underfunded.
