I have fibromyalgia and I notice that sometime I wake up with bruises on me. Big blue bruises like I been a fight. Is that normal for people with fibromyalgia to bruise easy or for nor reason?
I was thinking that I was going crazy, I thought someone was punching me in my sleep. So not only am I dealing with constant pain, I am dedaling with big blue bruises and I only find them on my legs and thighs.
Am I the only one?

your not the only one!! i go through phases where i will bruise easy and for NOTHING and look like a battered spouse!! then i will go through phases where i dont bruise unless there is a reason.. i havent figured out the pattern yet but i do know a lot of people with fibro have it but never really bring it up for some reason..
but it was REALLY bad when i fainted a year ago and i fell funny and landed on my head in a freakishly manner and then i went to the er and i was covered in bruises and they didnt believe i fainted because of how i landed and so they questioned me thinking my hubby was beating the hell out of me!

OMG Thanks, every time I got to the Army hospital they ask me am I being abused.
The people who know me in the ER do not ask because they know me and seen me so many times
they know I am safe.
But new ppl question me. My husband is good to me.
Fibromyalgia affects him also. He does not have it but for him to see me wake up bruised or in pain it
hurts him.
Especially because I be confused and people think I am crazy.
I am not crazy, if you woke up or was sitting on the couch watching tv all day long and got up and there was a bruise
or bruises on your body you would be confused also.
