it's going to snow, no ice, no snow showers, why can't they predict the weather a little better? lol I'm still typying one-handed,yeah,NOT, lol. i was supposed to have had my cast off tues.......but we were under a ice storm warning. now i'm supposed to get it off this saturday, if it doesn't snow too much to get there! i have two steep grades to go over to get to the office, and back down to get back home, and being a southern girl.......i don't even attempt to drive in ice or snow!
And yes, there are times like these i ask myself....'why did i move to the north pole?'lol
so who else is dealing with planning things around the weather?

Hey palonghorn! I hear ya! Isn't it a pain in the butt! I
don't know why those weather people with all their expensive
equipment can't get those predictions right! And yes I do
plan my appointments around the weather, if I can! It is
really annoying to have to make an appointment and then
have to reschedule it because of the weather! And some of
them I just can't reschedule! I'm sure you can't wait to get
that cast off! I do know how that feels! The snow is bad, but
we had an ice storm on Tuesday night that made Wednesday
mornings travel a horror and I had an appointment that was
mandatory for me to go to! Luckily, the transportation service
that picks me up was able to get me there and on time! I was
worried all Tuesday night because they kept saying how
treacherous it was outside and I could see that the ground
was a sheet of glass! I hope you can finally get your cast
off this week!

it was rescheduled for sat, but now we are under a snow watch! so i'm calling again today and see if at the least they can call the local hospital or clinic and get this cast off. maybe if i threaten to cut it off myself???? they'll do something lol. i agree with all the tecnology, they should be able to predict it a little better

i had eye surgery on the 7th and suppose to go back to the doctor on Saturday again, but we are under a winter storm alert. Snow, freezing rain and more snow, is on the way for late tonight and all day tomorrow. My daughter is suppose to take me but she has a daughter that now has Strep and I don't think it would be wise to be around her.
Doesn't it seem odd that as soon as you make a doctor appointment that that is when the crazy weather sets in. Yes I know it is winter, but I have sit here in this house for days and not seen a drop of snow or ice, bamm soon as you make an appointment here it comes. I think they got an eye on you and do it on purpose, haha. Just to see if you silly enough to get out on the road and try it.

We have had really cold weather here with tons of snow and I swear that every time I check the forecast for the next few days they have gone and changed it again! I don't know why they even bother having a long term forecast as they change it a dozen times before next week even gets here. I have also noticed that they seem to have severe weather warnings for every little thing. I don't know why they can't predict the weather more accurately, but I really wish they could!
