When i was in high school once i went to my fellow classmate to arrange some notes,i was quite in hurry because i have to prepare for the exams next day.Just before his house when i was crossing the road,i heard a BANG ,i stopped my bicycle and looked behind. Its a horrible scene,i will never forget that day in my life. The bus crushed a beggar sitting on the roadside,he was so badly crushed that i cannot make out where is head or legs are?,the bus driver ran just in front of my eyes, it was not a very crowded place. It really shake me hard.I was not able to drive my bicycle properly on my way back to home. This incident tells me that you never know what will happen the next moment. If you have seen any incident like this in your life, just share with us here.

Hi cyberbucks, a few summers ago we were returning from an out town church rivial meeting with friends, it was about 10:30 pm. We were riding with friends about 2 blocks from our home when suddenly the car in front hit a man. It was like time stood still as we watched this man fly high into the over the roof of her car and bounced off her trunk and landed beside us. I just reacted and was taking to get out of our car even before it stopped. I ran over to this man, yelling for someone to call for help, and then I began to assess the damage, fortunately he was still breathing, I was trying to get him to tell me his name to say something and when nothing happened, I began praying, found his wallet nearby placed it on his chest, he was mumbling when the emergency personnel arrived. We stepped back and let them work and after a few minutes we left. The next day I phoned a friend of ours in the police dept. and found out that the man was fine and had already been released from the hospital. The young lady that hit him had been drinking and would go to court for it. You just never know what is going to happen, we were grateful no one was seriously hurt. Happy posting!! Be happy, be joyful, be safe, be strong~ oohcute2340

I don't think that I have ever seen something that bad before. I do recall driving home from my grandparents house one day though and they lived on a lake with a nice path for biking and jogging. I do remember that a man a been biking and he fell and was hurt pretty badly. I called 911 and went back to my grandparents house to get some towels and stuff to help stop his bleeding until the paramedics got there. That was the most tragic thing I have seen or witnessed next to my sisters bad car accident a yr ago and the lady who hit my sisters car hit the car so hard that she ended up in the passengers seat of her car. She has extensive bleeding to her head and she was medavaced to a hospital here. My sister was much luckier but then again it was not my sisters fault!! Shihtzumama

When I was in school my brother was involved in a nasty accident which happened fifteen years ago. Basically there was no supervision for the school buses and when the bus came to collect us from school, everyone started rushing towards the bus before it had even parked. As the crowd of children all rushed my brother got pushed around quite badly and his foot ended up going underneath the wheel of the double decker bus, just as it was parking up. It basically crushed three quarters of foot into the floor, even crushing his ankle bone. He had to go to a specialist plastic surgery hospital where they sliced his back open and removed some of the muscle so they could use it to re-build his foot. The growth plates in his leg were smashed, so now his one leg grows but the damaged one doesn't. He was in hospital for eight months. He still has major problems with it now and could have to go for more major surgery. He also recently had an accident in work due to bad health & safety which has caused even more damage to his foot and he now has to walk on cructches. He is only 25 at the moment. I also once saw a young boy get run over right in front of which was quite daunting. I was driving up the road when this child ran out in front of the car in front of me. Both the car in front and myself had to slam on our brakes but unfortunately it was too late, the car in front of me hit the boy and he was just lying on the road, eyes closed, not moving. An ambulance was called and I waited there until some help arrived. It's one of my worst fears whilst driving is to have a child run out in front of me, I don't know what I would do except panic!

I saw the accident several times but didn't experience the whole secne of them. I just saw the damaged bicyles or cars and the blood trace. I think it is very shock on the spot. It's true we can't forecast what will happen next. Cherish time and life!

no i haven't actually and i hope i never have to... i'm scared to see lots of blood and i think i will have nightmares if i have to witness an accident like that... the bus driver is so irresponsible for just running away like that after hitting the beggar... i will take down the license number and report him to the police if i am the witness... take care and have a nice day...

Just two days before I had my exams....At morning time I went to the railway station and was just waiting for one my friend to accompany me...just after few minutes the train arrived..one women from the ladies compartment before the train could halt jumped from the train....(i think she was in a hurry)but unluckily she fell down and was going to slip below the wheels...but many of them were on the platform which helped her to save her life..they pulled her hardly..luckily she just got little bruises...the incident just shaked me...and made me realise that we should not be in a hurry while getting down from train.....

I haven't seen an accident first hand but I have many times passed by scenes of accidents with blood on the pavement and sometimes twisted vehicles and it's really horrible. I have seen one time a teenager waiting on the sidewalk and in shock while his motorcycle was lying down. Luckily he was not hurt. But still it gives you the shivers. But I saw my mom dying in her hospital bed while the docs were trying to revive but I knew then she was gone because you feel something weird you can't really explain inside you. And it's almost a year since then and that scene still keeps on playing in mind.

I have not experienced such a situation. But my younger sister has ever seen while taking the bus. She has said she never forget it in her life. When she talked about these,I saw she shivered all over. All the time, we have all observed the traffic rules very conscientiously.

I don't think I've ever seen any event that horrible. The worst I've seen is a car running down an animal. If I ever get into a situation like yours, I would turn my head as quickly as I could or shut my eyes. I don't think I would be able to stare at it and stand the sight. May he rest in peace.

Yes i have also encountered same incident. It was my birthday and i was going to school on my bicycle. When i was a few miles away from my school on the road,i saw two bikers were badly crushed by a milk delievery van. They wre in their teens. The driver had absconded from the site.It was such a terrible scene which still shkes me up even today when i think about it. I started crying when i reached school,my teacher consoled me and then our class prayed that their souls rest in peace.
