For all of you that are parents, what tme do you send your children to bed? I send my younger two kids to bed no at 8 p.m., and my oldest at 8:30 p.m. Of course, by the time they are finished having to go to the bathroom, needing a drink, and wasting time in general, they actually get to bed between 8:30 and 9. I remember being a kid andhaving a bedtime of 8 also. I hated it when I was younger, but really understand the reasons behind it now that I am a parent.

I put my youngest (he's 4) down at 9 PM. My oldest (she's 6) goes to bed at 9:30. A lot of people think that's pretty late, but it's still giving her 9 hours of sleep before I have to wake her up for school, and she doesn't seem to be having any problems. It's the schedule that works for us for now.

I made my childrens bedtime between 10-10:30 because they are young and don't have to go to school as of yet and I stay home with them. They used to go to bed around 8:00pm but then they would have woke up in the middle of the night around 2:30-3:00am so I just decided to let them stay up later so that they would at least sleep through the night. When they start school they will be going to bed about 8pm hopefully. As a child I had a bedtime of 8:30-9:00pm myself on school nights and having to wake up at 6-6:30am to get ready for school I couldn't complain.

My son goes to bed by 7:00PM and my daughter goes to bed by 8:00PM. It may vary a little depending on what's going on that day, but not by much.
