My only new years resolution was to get our house super cleaned and organized. Well I have been working for 2 weeks on little stuff and today I started on the bigger things. I moved furniture around, I took all of the toys out of the room that I want to be sewing and my new bedroom, I got all of my fabric and sewing stuff organized, etc. I still need to clean up my little ones play room - right now , since I put all of his toys in there this afternoon you can hardly walk in there. I even put his tv and vcr in there. His room will take a couple of days and I will probably do it this weekend. A lot of the reason that i have been doing this and have more room to now finally have mine and hubbies own room is because my 19 year old daughter moved out into her own apartment!! So that left us an extra room. A good size room too. So now my 15 year old still has his room and my 2 year old has his own room too. He is playing in there now very HAPPY!!

Kudos sweetpeasmom!!!! That is awesome, I have made that resolutions in addition to the you know....the dreaded weight loss thing.... My house is waaaaaay out of control, I am a sunday school teacher for 3-7 year olds and I have stacks, piles and boxes of craft materials, lesson information, props, costumes, etc. I have managed to move the majority of the boxes and crates to a back room but that is a small dent, it seems ever room is cluttered with SS materials. You have now inspired me to get started on that resolution. One thing I have done is resigned from ss teaching effect March 1st, so that will at least give some light at the end of the "clutter" tunnel. -- Best wishes in your organizing!!! Happy posting, be happy, be joyful, be safe, be strong!! oohcute2340

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I feel you on the crafts -- it is so hard to get that kind of stuff organized and for some reason I cannot throw anything out. I will eventually use it won;t I?? Usually not. I do have a bunch of stuff that is going out with the trash on Tuesday and some stuff that i am actually going to freecycle.

My resolution is too keep my house from being really cluttered. It is hard considering that we are a homeschool family and we have so many books, papers, etc. It is nice to think that I will have a clean home each night when I go to sleep. I just hope that I can control it and not spend all my free time doing the work that it will take to get it under control.

Homeschooling takes over your whole house!!!!! I too have stacks and stacks of books, papers, files, projects, etc. I am afraid to throw anything away because you never know what might come up!!

Good for you sweetpeasmom! I want to get my house super clean as well. I am also wanting to organize our storage shed too. It takes so long but is well worth it in the end. I am glad you have your own bedroom again! Ahh the wonderful feeling of serenity!
