Do you ever turn songs or saying around in some way?

I have a couple of really forgettable songs that I do that to. One is from a TV ad that used to run a lot: my version is "Oscar Mayer has a way with a n g o l o b". Another is part of an old song that Festus (played by Dennis Weaver I believe) on Gunsmoke used to sing: my version is "Run Dog Run or the Rabbit will get You" and probably is inspired by two things, the mythical Jacklope (a jackrabbit with antelope horns) and the Zena: Warrior Princess episode where Gabriel dreams or hallucinates about being attacked by a killer bunny rabbit that goes for the throat. In both cases the real version should be obvious. Do you have any that you do?

I have been doing it for a long time to songs which I had forgotten to parts of the lyrics and to songs which I remember every single lyric. There are three main reasons/situations to this act. 1) When words are forgotten others are used to replace them. 2) There are words which I dislike so I replace them with words which reflect my feelings. 3) I like the tune and use it with my own words to suit the situation, such as in a classroom or at home. all the best, rosdimy

This is so funny because I tend to do this a lot especially if I really like the tune I'll go around the house singing the songs with totally different words. My kids thinks this is so crazy.

I can't say that I have ever done this. I like to sing, and sometimes will end up singing the wrong words to a song, but not on purpose.
