Yesterday, I learned from the site the mistake of the mailing supplier. What penalty will be imposed? Actually, whatever the penalty cannot compensate for the mistake. Outsourcing is said to be the way to reduce expense, and is widely adopted in all industries. Suppliers are involved in all areas starting from strategic cousultation, product planning, material supply, facility maintenance, up to marketing promotion, even crisis management. What is left for the company? Cost might be reduced, but are we giving sufficient attention to the development of our own resources, especially human resources. A lot, if not all, of our staff are content with being a go-between, while deprived of the opportunity to develop the core techniques. At this time of economy crisis, is there anybody starting thinking about the position of outsourcing?
