How will you call these high socialite and prominent people kneeling wooden images, kissing it, caressing it and even parading it around the city. Adoring the images. Don't they know that some portion of that made wooden images goes to the garbage, use as firewood and some other purposes of the sculptor or anyone who made it. They said those wooden images are holy, how come it's going to be holy when it's just being made by human? By the way are you one of them?

LOL no I'm far from being a fanatic and I have no issues with them AS LONG AS they keep their fanatic views away from me..I have nothing against a person voicing their opinions and beliefs BUT when you start to beat me with them THEN I get angry..

There is imigary in most religions so it is not unusual or specific to one.
Whether it is an icon in Russia, a statue in Spain, a big stone structure in Mecca, a wall in Jerusalem, a shrine in Japan or a Golden Temple in India - all religions need a focal point to concentrate the mind.
And no, I'm not a fanatic.

No, I am not a religious fanatic but I believe in each to his own. If so many people find solace in an idol, then who am I to stop them. Is it in my hands to comfort them, to give them strength, to make them understand their follies? If yes, then I should go out and face them but if no, then I should allow them to carry on their religious rites.
