I'm really sad today. It was such a good game but we seemed to stop playing after the 3rd quarter. What a sad day in OK. Especially since the AP put Texas ahead of us in the national standings. That's just wrong since we're Big 12 champs. (This is coming from a UT alum). I may be a UT alum but I'll always love OU best.

I fell asleep at the end of the 3rd quarter. It seemed like a close game up to there. Then I was awakened by a phone call around 1:00 o'clock and was told that Florida had won by 10 points.
I had Florida in a pool, but I was secretly hoping that OU would win. I am from Kentucky, who is an SEC school, and I just get so tired of hearing about Florida all of the time. Football and basketball. Well, hopefully they won't have much of a basketball team this year when March Madness rolls around.
Sorry to hear that you are so sad. I guess we just have to pick up and move on. Hope your day gets brighter!!!

Thanks for the response. My husband is a "rabid" OU fan and although we don't have season tickets, we try to go to one or two games every year and NEVER miss a game on TV. We live only a few miles from Norman and it's hard not to be a fan when you live right there. OU is such a football school and we should be happy we made the championship but we're still disappointed Florida won.

That is really interesting. I don't think I have ever met anyone who graduated from Texas that was an OU fan. Rock on! I'm happy for all the fans we get. It's not too surprising I guess, we spend enough time down there recruiting. I can't stand losing to Texas, I'm glad we beat them this year, but who didn't?
