A call for Prayers

Hi all,
I have a friend who has been dealt a pretty tough blow. About a year ago, her 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with a type of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroblastoma ), and for the past year has been living in the hospital with her daughter while they seek treatment. The treatment seems to work sometimes, and then others, she goes completely downhill. Suffice it to say that Christmas was a really tough time for them both, and that Jami experienced a roller coaster of emotions.
While medical pays for her daughter's treatment, their living expenses were only covered for the first 6 months, and now she is dependent solely on fundraisers to keep afloat. In addition to having to get a place on the mainland where the children's hospital is, she's been holding onto her apartment here in town, so that she has a clean, sterile space to bring her daughter back to in the event of recovery.
The financial burden is great enough, but coupled with the emotional burden of having to deal with her toddler being in the hospital clinging to life is more than I'd wish on anyone.
So I'm asking everyone to keep Jami and her daughter in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks!

I would like to think everyone reading this will indeed keep these people in their daily prayers. I am definately in. It is so sad how so many people are in need. Remembering people in a few minutes of prayer is a very small donation. Makes you want to win a lotto.

I will definitely keep this child in my prayers as well as the many other children out there that are suffering from these terrible diseases. It is always sad to hear of a child being stricken with cancer.
Two years old is such a young age. It is good that her mother is continuously with her.1 person likes this
