how long does it take you

I don't usually post any dicussion, but today I have a couple. I'm cleaning my house, and I started to vacum, how long does it take you to vacum one room? Also, when you see a piece of paper on the carpet and the vacum doesn't pick it up do keep going over it, or do you pick it up and put in the trash or throw back on floor and see if the vacum picks it up that time?

It takes me less than 15 minutes to vacuuum all over the place since not all the room of the house is carpeted!
And if there are papers, I will be trying hard to push the vacuum and wait until it will be swallowed! LOL!
I am lazy to pick it up! LOL!

It's funny how we run over these papers hoping that the vacum will pick it up. I had one stuck and i kept running the vacum over and over again. I had to pick it up myself unstick and throw back down. I also get lazy that way. LOL

y[i]ea, we became very dependent due to this stuff! LOL! But, at least we are already willing to bend our knees when vacuum will not pick it up!
I remember my roommate before who is very lazy and will just push all her trash under her bed! Lazy girl**! lOL![/i]

Most of my house is flooring and not carpet so I don't vacuum. But when I did, it usually didn't take long to vacuum each room. Also, if there was something that the vacuum didn't pick up, I would pick it up myself.

Seem that there is only two us that don't do that. LOL. I would like to get rid of the carpet, it get dirty, and I know my kid and husband have spill so much into it. I need to wash it, I just hope the whole part doesn't come apart. LOl thanks love for responding.

The time it takes me to vacuum a room varies according to how dirty the floor has become. I generally spend 10-15 per room because I try to do a thorough cleaning with each vacuuming. I will not spend a lot of time trying to get the vacuum to pick up bits of paper, it is faster to remove it manually and keep going. I do not vacuum everyday do I want to be sure I do a good job whenever I do get down to business.

Same here, I don't vacum everyday , but when I do I spend at least 10mins vacuming. I wish I didn't have carpeting, It gets too dirty right away. thank you for your response.

How long does it take me ? well it depends, sometimes If I don't feel like wasting my time on cleaning I just do my things really fast. I am good at cleaning, I just don't like to waste time eheh. Oh and when I see a piece of paper on the floor I just pick it up because I don't use the vacuum cleaner as my cats are oo scared of it and since they're 13 years old I better dont use it :)
