What TV series do you miss?

Ok, you know the scene...you wait each week for your favorite show, you never miss it. Then you hear the news, it's been canceled! What, how can this be, you wonder? I for instance, am a fan of Eli Stone, and have heard rumors of it's soon to be demise(say it ain't so).
What's even worse is when you like a show and it just disappears. Just leaves you in the middle with no conclusion, no tying up of loose ends.... This happened to me with Las Vegas. They had thier season finale and then it was canceled. So there was this big explosion and now we'll never know who lived and died. (I'm still a little miffed on that one.)
So, tell me, what's that show the network bigwigs took away from you that has left a hole in your week?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, barring an Eli Stone-like miracle of divine intervention, Eli Stone will in fact be over quite soon. I'm not even sure when ABC is planning on airing its remaining episodes. Quite sad, really, as I think Eli Stone is one of the more interesting and unique shows on TV. There are SO many procedurals - not that I don't enjoy them! - and not nearly enough shows with the kind of quirk and charm that Eli has. And the religious aspect in primetime as a main focus is unusual these days as well.
I can't remember a show leaving me hanging in the middle (thought I know there are many of them, I just can't recall a specific one. But I do frequently get very frustrated with the networks for not giving good shows a chance to find their audience, or for constantly moving a show around so the audience can't even find it (Cough...NBC...Cough...Scrubs). These days, if you don't have stellar ratings from the first episode, you're never given a chance, and that's a shame, because a lot of great shows never get an opportunity to REALLY show what they're made of. Too much instant gratification expected on the part of the networks. Sad, really.
But at least I know I'm not the only one that will be mourning Eli's premature and undeserved demise!

Yea, I like everything about Eli. The cast, the writing, the stories.... The bottom line with alot of these shows, especially the dramas, is that the networks don't have patience to let audiences find the shows. They're too expensive to make. realtiy tv shows are so much cheaper to produce that even if they don't get the audiences the networks still make a big buck.
Scrubs was really worked over by NBC. It must have had a really loyal following because it lasted for quite a while and now has been picked up by another network, yes? I don't really watch it regularly but my nephew is a big fan.

Oh, pooh! Say it isn't so. Please?! I love Eli Stone. I was checking each week and hoping they were just still on Christmas Hiatus. But most of my other regulars have started back up again, so I was getting a little worried.
Damn it! I really like that show. I mean, really like it.
Do you have proof or where did you find this information out? I would like to know where I can go to complain about it, too. If you know. Thx.

My favorite show ER will be closing the doors to County General ( the hospital on the show) this year after 15 seasons on air! I will miss it sooo much. I have seen every episode that there is. The other shows I watch have not been cancelled my other favorite shows are Law and Order SVU and Biggest Loser.

My two favourite TV shows, Neighbours and Ghost whisperer have not been canceled, so I'm quite happy about that.
However I am quite upset that in Australia Big Brother has been cut and The Simpsons aren't on every weekday anymore, they have been replaced by the Bold and the beautiful, it's a dumb show in my opinion.
Simpsons are only on once a week now. :(

I love The Simpsons. Here in the states they are all over the place. How they keep coming up with ideas for that show after all this time amazes me. The halloween episodes are always priceless.
Sorry to hear they axed BB. I just recently started watching ti here and i'm hooked. We even bought a few of the old seasons on DVD to see what happened.
