My recent discussion about egg sandwiches has sparked a bit of enthusiasm for the treat! Oodles of responses spoke of hunger pangs and the sudden urge to break out a pan and cook one up. Do you think the farmers are prepared for this? Do you think the "Egg Council" will be honoring me anytime soon?

Hi rocketj1! I have checked that discussion just now and saw that it has 73 responses at this time and I know it will be soliciting more respondents in no time. I could see that it deserves an award! haha..I will vote for you in the "Egg Council" so you can have the honor you deserve. The problem is, I am not a member of such council..so, how can I join in that council? haha..Just joking!
Take care always! And have a wonderful day dear!

I hope it does honor you for the good word you put out for them.. I am not sure if I responded to that one or not, but if I didn't, I should have.. I love egg sandwiches and so does my husband, he could eat eggs three times a day, any way you wanted to fix them.. The farmers are going to have to light a fire under the chickens to keep up with the extra demand..

You mean that you haven't heard? On National TV last night was a documentary that called your name and is holding you personally repsonsible for the increase of the consumption of eggs in my country. You may be named in this years' Nations Honours Listing.
They are sending the Trade Delgation to your countrry to personally offer you the position of Chairman in their latest campign to promote the eating oif egg sandwiches. The slogan will be, "Eat an Egg Instead'.
However, the Chicken Association has issued a decidely ruffled feathered statement saying that the Chicken Union are going to take assertive action. Their warning to their members was so inspiring that chickens all over the Island today are scurrying for cover and are on a walk out. Not a sit out, as the Association fears that a sit out may inadvertently lead to an increase in egg production.
Oh, a News Boroadcast has just been issued. What's that? Oh goodness! Thousand of chickens have congregated at both National Airports in an endeavour to leave the Island. Tourists are fleeing the airport and their empty seats are being taken by these birds. The News person ended the statement by stating that a Flight Attendant was attacked by seven hens as she offered the snack of the day to the hens. Yes, it was egg sandwiches!
And here ends the latest news broadcast..........

I regret that I work for a 'fowl' person, But I am still clucking around just hoping not to give him a reason for ruffling my feathers. If he starts on me today he may get 'hen pecked'!
