MyLot Forums that you Avoid?

Are there popular areas of MyLot that you tend to avoid? Which ones are they? I tend to stay away from the "Making Money" discussions because they are all starting to sound the same. Seems like it's just people who are out to get as many referrals as possible and they haven't researched the sites they are recommending for long enough to be able to tell me if they are valid "making money" sites. For me, I would not pass along a site to someone else that I wasn't 110% sure of - meaning, I had been paid from them more than a couple of times and I knew they were legit. I would be completely upfront with people on whether the site would require them to spend a lot of time or money in order to make money. I wish other people would do the same. It seems like every time I open that forum, it's people trying to just get their link out there and they do not tell the truth about the sites. I've been scammed and I've spent a lot of TIME and ENERGY trying to make a few pennies for a week's worth of work and I'm tired of it. If I'm going to put that much time into something, I need to either be 1. making good money or 2. having fun. (like here on MyLot) otherwise don't waste my time. So I stay out of those discussions now. What about you? Is there an interest here on MyLot that you stay away from and why?

I tend to steer clear of topics on religion and politics because people get way to serious when discussing those subjects, and its really easy to be miss understood when discussing topics like that, then people start name calling and then they'll give you bad rating just because they disagree, so I like much lighter topics but there has been a few times where I had made an exeption, and I was lucky enough to escape the discussion without any rude comments or bad ratings.

I do not really avoid any of them. I judge each topic individually. However, I, like you, don't spend much time jumping to a lot of different pay sites. I am satisfied to invest my time into a couple of pay sites. If I take on too many, I get overwhelmed and like you said, a lot of them are scams anyhow.

I would have to say I do not stay away from any of them since most of the time I am replying to discussions on the New Discussions page. Yes, the make money discussions all are very similar, they are mostly just looking for referrals. Since I am not a likely referral candidate, I don't always answer those.

Like you i stay away from "Making Money" because i see most of them are just looking for referrals. It's not really bad but i think they should looks for some place else than take advantage of making a discussion for it. I stay away from "Religion" because posting or responding to discussion will most probably end up in a argument on which religion holds true or not. There could be hundreds of religions out there and there's no point of arguing about faith or falsify one's religion.

You are right most are looking for referrals. But there is another reason to avoid this forum, Most of these post also end up being deleted by moderators, because invariably someone ends uo putting links in them & the whole post gets deleted. But i do visit these forums often.Because make money forum should have info on making extra income.
