How to connect excel with vb 6.0?

I am doing a project in visual basic. I want to use MS EXCEL as a back end. But I dont know the exact procedure.Please inform me if you know,,,,

I guess your trying to make excel as your database right? why not just use microsoft access. it would be a lot more efficient and easier. don't really know about excel and vb, i've heard of such but hasn't seen a tutorial yet. anyway, ms access offers a lot of tutorial and a support for vb in the program so you won't have any trouble.
