Best spam blocker of 2008?

I have used some spam blocker but the best is what I downloaded from the torrent on the net.It blocked all spam messages I received along with some alert in the desktop.I just tried the trial version and it worked well and hence I downloaded it.

I have not used many.
But I think I will use one.
Avast does everything for me.
But I had good luck with adaware from lavasoft.
spyware doctor is a very good one out there.
