The final cut is far from the comedy films that Robin Williams are doing. This one is quite serious but it tends to be on fictional side. The story goes as Robin Williams working as the cutter. A technology then was existing that a person can be implanted some kind of a chip on his brain when he is still a baby. This chip records all his memory till the time of his death. The chip is then extracted and can be viewable by others just like a recorded home video. Robin Williams work is to cut the pieces of memories that the family of the dead person wants to see. For me, the idea of the story is good as thinking the possibility of it in the future is interesting. But the film was taken in a quite dark mood. And there are lots of questions that remain to be unanswered at the end of the story. I think there are conflicts on the plots that need to be detailed to be understood better.

I like that movie. I think the dark mood of it fits well with the moral questions the movie raises about the implications of the technology. We're not that far away from it. Within the last couple of weeks it was announced that scientists have found a way using computers of course to see what we are actually thinking. The full implications are quite scary!
