First time grandmother

I have a granddaughter that is very sweet. Her mother raises her well. But its hard for her mom to get a break from her. She is attached to her hip. But my other daughter lives 5 hours from me and she found out she is going to have a baby boy. Is anyone a first time grandmother or is a grandmother? I love being a grandmother.

I love being a Grandma. I had two boys who are now getting their turns to be parents.
My oldest is a precocious 4 year old girl. The second is her 20 month old sweet brother. My youngest is a precious 3 month old girl.
I'm fortunate. All the grandkids live about 20 minutes from me. It's funny. I had sisters growing up so I wanted boys and I got them. I know I would have loved a girl just as much, but I was hoping for boys. Anyway, now being Grandma and having girls too, I'm discovering just how much fun they are.
For some reason Kayanna decided to call her grandma's "Nina" so I'm "Nina Kathy" I love hearing that little voice say that. Her brother will probably call me Nina Kathy as well because his sister does. I'm kinda wondering though what name Maddie might come up with for me. It will be fun to see.

Your grand kids sound very cute. I love being a grandmother. My grand daughters name is maddie. She is very sweet and loving. I cant wait for other grand kids. I love to spoil my grand daughter very much.
