Who has read the book, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, by Joshua Harris? I think it is a great book for young adults and older teens who are beginning to get interested in dating and relationships. I only wish I had this kind of teaching and wisdom passed on to me when I was that age instead of when it came into my hands after my divorce. I am a great believer in old fashioned courtship rather than what society is leading our kids into these days of dating and pre-marital relations. The old ways of courtship are so respectful of both the people involved. No one is taking advantage of the other or rushing the other into behaviors they are not ready for no matter how much they pretend they are. It is written for the young adult and teenager, but there is much wisdom in it for the older person seeking relationships. I love the book and highly recommend it for parents who want to guide their teens into the confusing world of love and marriage. I also recommend it for young adults and older adults alike, especially if you never had good teaching when you were young.

Yes, I have also read the book and it was a very interesting one especially for christians who want to know about dating and relationships. He kissed dating goodbye because he has a wife already but the author is teaching those teens and adults alike about biblical courtship.

Actually he kissed dating goodbye before he ever met his wife, once he realized how he was disrespecting women in his previous relationships. The book tells of how he and his wife's relationship grew through old fashioned courtship rather than dating.

Two of my Christian friends read this book. One of them had no boyfriend when she was reading it. Although I didn't have any chance to read the book they said that it is really a good back. It is some sort of guidelines on the right relationship, traditional courtship as we may say it.
