The service

I went to Starbucks recently with my husband. I placed my order for the drinks and a chicken pie. My husband paid the bill. We got our drinks and offered to take our sit while waiting for the pie to be served. After a while, the waitress served chicken sandwich to us. I looked at her and told her that I was ordering a pie. She did not say much but went back to the counter. I told my husband to check the receipt and it was a sandwich. It is actually more expensive compare to a pie. The difference should around $1-2. So, I asked my husband to go to the counter and check what are they going to do. They delivered us the pie. We are supposed to get refund as the pie is cheaper. But they gave us a coupon where we can redeem a large coffee anytime. That means we earned from it. What do you think about their service in this case? Good or bad?

Oh dear! It was bad service that you didnt get what you ordered in the first place. Then it was bad service in my opinion that you were given a coupon rather than the cash as it was their mistake. Although you gained from it this time, imagine if you had missed the bus and had to wait another half an hour for the next one. You decide to pop in to starbucks and have a drink and a pie, after paying for that you will have just enough to get the bus home. That mistake could have left you short on your bus fare! How would you then get home? In my opinion very bad service on their part!

mummyofthree, ok, I understand your point of view. I think I earned just because I am sure I will go back to Starbucks but to people who might not going back will loose their money instead! Thanks for sharing your opinion with me!
