Have u ever written with an INK/ FOUNTAIN PEN??

I was using one in my childhood days. My dad used to say it would give shape to my handwriting in a better way. I have written with a fountain pen for about two years. Now I am using ballpoint pen. Atleast it doesn't have the problem of refilling the ink by yourself. Have you ever written with a fountain pen??
Do you still use it??

Fountain pens are lovely to write with. I'm old enough that we were only allowed to use fountain pens at school, biros were very much forbidden. I still regularly use one especially if I want to do some calligraphy or if I want my handwriting to be at its best. these days we type so much that most people hardly ever get a chance to develop nice handwriting. I think thats a little bit sad, its nice to write with a good pen.

that is nicely said.The increased use of electronic mail has minimized the use of writing so the use of ink pens. its beautiful an experience to write in them.

Me too used ink pen in my childhood days because of the same reason. But now I use ballpoint pen.

Hi,
I used to write with my friend's Fountain pen a while ago, until he discontinued it as refilling the ink dirtied his hands. I used it and the best part was that I maintained a good handwriting with it, but it was so dark that it could be seen from the other side of the paper next to light, so I no more use it.

Used to use fountain pen in my schooldays long ago Parker Fountain pen gave to me by my beloved grandfather. Come to think of it, it was kinda interesting as every night I have to refill the ink and get the pen ready for school the next day. But as I grew older, I stopped using fountain pen till today itself. Too time consuming. Am using ball pen now.

Yes, i used to have fountain pen when i was a teenager. During my secondary school time, there was actually a weekly homework that require us to write with fountain pen to practice our writing. I love writing with fountain pen as my writing will look better. But i have stopped using it after i have graduated from high school as it is quite time consuming and not convenient for me.
