If you were able to go back in time, which eras would you choose and why?

I would like to go two different eras 1- To the time when Aristotle was in Athens to witness the changes one of the most important person in philosophy was bringing about. 2- To the time when renaissance was taking place in italy. This was one period which witnessed a growth spurt in every aspect be it philosophy ,medicine, biology or archtecture.

Found it! I'd want to go back to Roman times to seehow civilizwed and ahead of their time they may have been. Mayan times for the same reasons; and lastly, I'd maybe want to go back to the times surrounding religious figures such as Jesus Christ, Confuscious, Buddha and others so I could witness first hand their message for the world and influence! I'd also like to go back tens of thousands of years just to breathe the unpolluted air, drink the pure water and to see a night sky!

Thanks for the BR, loudcry! It didn't take me too long to find it, I just started at the end of your "discussions started" list and worked my way backwards!

I think I would be interested in going back to the 70's. Yep..The 1970's - more specifically, 1977. I used to be totally into 70's punk, such as the s. pistols (lol - you know what I mean) and the Clash to name a couple. I would really love to see how everything was back then & experience the political, social, & musical movement that the US & the UK experienced then.

Rock music movement was at its height during the 70's. So it would be an interesting time to be around.
