Editing your profile: fun activity or a waste of time?

I know I am bit late on this one, but I suddenly realised there was so much more for me to do with my profile; adding colours, pictures, messages to other peoples profiles and more. Yes, I did know about this earlier but somehow it never really go through to me that I could do this aswell 
. I never stopped to think about it.
Now that I have, I have changed the background colours, I got a virtual pet on my page and I changed the layout to my own preference. I've done the same thing with the regular mylot page. It works for me, and I like editing layouts and creating webpages.
Do you like editing your profile or do you think it's a waste of time?
Would you edit your profile if mylot would pay you to keep it updated?

I donl;t edit my profile very often at all and never have really. I did make an effort only a few weeks back and added some things (Including the virtual panda you mentioned a while back!); but aside from these small additions, I'm quite happy to leave it as is. I know some people love to make the effort to change it regularly, I just couldn't be bothered for one; and I also seem to have constant issues with the HTML sections as well for some reason. Would I be more active with profile changing if mylot paid me to do it? Probably not. It's more about time availability and inclination, so a few extra cents here and there won't sway me much I don't think.

It looks great with the header text you put above it. I think your profile looks fine this way, if you aren't fond of changing it than it wouldn't look like your profile with a lot of extra stuff on it. I do like the green and white layout, it goes well with your avatar

Thank you so much for the compliment. I saw your friendrequest and I have accepted it; I will take a look at your profile as well. I love your hair! I wish I could dye my hair such a bold colour but due to my work that will not be possible.
I did dye my hair a rather bright red and black in the back of my neck but that is about as far as I will be able to go (or I can braid in dreadlocks, they did agree to that ).

Allright, that's quite fine aswell 
Mylot gives their users an easy and well to understand profile so no adjustments need to be made in order to have a good overview, that's a good thing. No need for us to make up our profile all by ourselves, it's allready fully working without us even knowing it is there .
I think you allready did the most important profile task anyone here in mylot should go through with, merely because of ease of recognition: changing their avatar to one of their own . Have a pleasent evening, Ellie, and thanks for responding!

I think it's kind of fun, but I don't pay enough attention to it. I get distracted by all the wonderful discussions going on and then I'm too tired to get in there and do anything with it. Plus there's all the figuring out HOW to do it. I'm too lazy on certain things. Imagine!!
