So, we got hit up today for the first time of the season to purchase girl scout cookies. As a sub and dance teacher, I will get hit up quite a bit - so we only purchased two boxes so far - a box of thin mints for me, and a box of peanut butter patties for my hubby. What is your favorite flavor of Girl Scout Cookies?

I like the Thin Mints the best. They used to have ones called ScotTeas, those were my mom's favorites. Do they still have those? I don't know any Girl Scouts and don't get tagged to buy them anymore. However, both my nephew and my neighbor are Cub Scouts and I end up buying two packs of popcorn every year. Thankfully, it is really good!

My first post on myLot! A girl in my office sells cookies for her daughter's Girl Scout troop and there is a new flavor this year called Dulce de Leche. She brought in a sample box but I wasn't so impressed. It has a caramel drizzle on top of a cinnamon flavored crunchy cookie. My favorites are the peanut butter patties and the peanut butter sandwich cookies. My husband always loves the thin mints, which I keep in the freezer for him. He'll nab a few at a time and eat them cold. The shortbread ones are always a classic favorite as well.

Great discussion My daughter is in Brownies so she brings home a WHOLE case of the darn things....they are so good we usually have to sell them right away or I will eat them all. My favorite are the vanilla ones. they are awesome!!!

My favorite Girl Scout cookie has always been Thin Mints. They taste like Baskin and Robbins mint chip ice cream in a cookie. They always disappear within a few days!

I love the thin mints the best. When I was working, I always looked forward to when the parent of a girl scout would bring in the cookie list. They have gotten a little more expensive over the years, like everything else. If I was able to afford it I usually bought two boxes of thins mints for me, and the shortbread cookies for my husband.

I really don't have a favorite girl scout cookies. When they come knocking on my door I will go ahead and order just one box if I have money. But I do love the mint cookies and peanut butter patty cookies, those are really good.

I like those lemon cookies they sale. I belive it's their "reduced fat" one...cos well they are reduced in fat & not as bad for you, plus I like the lemon flavor. However their thin mint cookies are really good. Cheers! Pablo

Where I grew up they were called Samoas, but where I live now they are called Caramel Delights. The only difference in them in the type of chocolate. I love them both. The caramel, coconut, and chocolate combination over a crispy cookie. YUM! I have not had them in a few years, but I found these ones at Dollar General that taste very similar.

My favorite is the peanut butter sandwich cookie. We just bought two boxes today. Hubby is munching on some now. I'll hide the other box for myself! LOL I like the thin mints too. Maybe I'll get those on the next round. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity! LOL

I love the peanut butter patties. I mean what's not to like, chocolate, peanut butter adn a cookie....yum. I used to be a thin mint girl but I have moved on. Of course now that keebler has come out with thier line of similar I can have them any time I want. One thing that is disappointing about scout cookies sales now is how expensive the cookies are. They use to be a pretty good deal. Then they were reasonable. now they are downright expensive. I still buy a few boxes but not like I used to.
