i am in canada and lets face it, winter is cold and long and we dont go out as much at night as we do in the summer, so i have left some crafts to do over the winter. i wanted to teach myself how to knit, but my wrist is still pretty sore (i pulled a muscle in my wrist while crocheting!) my hubby just bought me a mimi loom which i started playing with today and it doesnt require as much wrist action as knitting or crocheting or even cross stitching will. how about you?

I haven't decided on any new craft to try, though those knit-looms seem interesting. No, no no, I am going to work on all this stuff I have already got started. Started and cluttering up the whole house, Some here, some there, some with all the stuff put in one place, like a ice cream bucket, some scattered in several different places. Lots of stuff, yarn, fabrics not yet designated to a specific project. Hummmmmmmmm, yarn + knit-looms??? NO NO NO.

I really don't have any new craft in mind. I just started resin in December. I am going to continue experimenting with resin. I also want to start making other crochet items. I normally make blankets, hats and scarves. I want to make clothing, and maybe crochet jewelry

I've had a drop spindle for a couple of years now and still haven't mastered it. That's my goal this year, craftswise. I enjoy knitting, embroidery and needlepoint, but I want to learn to spin yarn, too.

I am not really sure if this is considered a craft but I am working on making my own jewelry and refinishing furniture. I am looking for ways to make extra money but have fun doing it all at the same time. But I do gift baskets and holiday crafts as well.

When I've finished Spring cleaning (I know its early, but I want to enjoy Spring!), I plan on getting together with my BFF and doing silver precious metal clay rings. We bought a kiln last year, but illness and many other things have kept us from it... but not this year! After rings, I want to move on to pendants and also settings for the semi-precious stones my sister works with. I'm very excited to get busy!

My hubby bought me a sweater knitting machine. I have always wanted a knitting machine. The booklets that came with it are very explanatory. There is an online tutorial as well. Hopefully I will get time to sit down and get started.

My eight year old daughter is going to learn to knit this Feb and I am hoping that I can either go with her to learn or learn from her. A lady from church wanted to teach her. I want to get a book that teaches how to make suncatchers. I saw one that a friend bought and they look really cool. I have to just get to Michaels craft store, which isn't in my area, and get the book and materials.

I am not learning a new craft - I love to knit - and I am knitting my grandaughters coats - I have one done and she has it and am well on the way with my second one but it took a back seat to the holidays. When it is done I will be 2 coats down and two to go but I love to just sit and knit and glance out of the window and be glad that I am warm, cosy and don't have to go our in the miserable weather if I don't want to.
