Yes, it is true! Some blogger has started a web site where he is documenting all of 0bama's promises. Additionally, he is keeping track of promises kept and not kept. You can check out the site and the promises here. http://www.allamericanblogger.com/president-obamas-promises/ I say that it is fair for we ordinary citizens & voters to use the internet to document the truth about promises made by our leaders. In fact, I'd say this blogger is something of a true patroit. What do you say? Fair or not fair? Comments about the promises?

Sure it's fair, and I am reading every day about the 0bamunist backing off of his promises more and more every day, claiming that they can't be done right now and must be delayed. His policy for Iraq is the same as Bush, and is directly in opposition of what he said during his campaign. Instead of the change he was talking about, he is using Clinton Administration retreads... some of who have been in serious trouble for stealing sensitive information. This blogger is a true patriot, and those are in short supply these days.

I watched THIS WEEK on ABC moderated by little georgie this week. 0bama was the guest. He was backing off on lot's of stuff. Rush Limbaugh mentioned it today. To little georgie's credit, he was slightly critical of 0bama, but not near as much as he should have been.

yeah, people like to be with the strong one monst of the time. This is why I think the politicians should be wiped out! Many of them! I just wish the the society in my country to wipe out the current prime minister of Turkey

of course it is fair. I am not living in the US but I think this should be done in whole world and for all of the leaders. They are saying big lies to gain the votes of people and after they reach the power, they just forget many of their promises and then they work hard for people to forget these old stuff. In addition, we usually forget what we were promised and what we didn't get as a result. for this reason, that kind of a blogging activity is really good in my opinion because those stuff might give us a clearer idea for the next elections. Again, I'm not living in the US and living in Turkey. We also need many of these things as our current leader is doing the worst stuff we could have seen. I am really worried about my country because of the current prime minister, and the people who support him are just too blind to see what's happening.

This is the biggest good thing about the internet. We common people can more easily keep track of what is going on. Let's hope they do not find a way to stop us from posting as we please.

well, i think it is fair... but whether the leader can keep up to the promises is another story as he is only a human being... that's why a leader has to be wise before making promises and make sure that he doesn't make an empty promise that he can't keep... take care and have a nice day...

How dare anyone hold a politician to their campaign promises:-} As the late great Ayn Rand once spun into existence "A leaf cannot be all red and green at the same time, it cannot freeze and burn at the same time. A is A." The same can be applied about the words that come out of a politicians mouth, if it is a lie, it is a lie, no more no less. A broken campaign promise is not any less than lie than a little white lie.

I think campaign promises that are outright lies are the worst of lies. They have ill intent and affect millions in national elections.

I think thats fair. With technology it is easier for the average Joe to watch and keep track. I think you are hard pressed to find somebody who hasn't broken a campaign promise. Also, Obama made these promises not realizing that the President doesn't really have that kind of power. Now his party has the majority, but, I think Nancy and Harry will do what ever they want. I agree this should be interesting. I think everybody should keep their own little tally!

Think how sad it is that 0bama, a former constitutional scholar, and chosen by Americans as the best person out of 300 million to be President, did not know the President doesn't really have that kind of power to keep the promises he made. While it is certainly possible 0bama is that ignorant, I think his over all demeanor indicates he has above average intelligence. Therefore, rather than ignorant of the role of the President, I think he is just an eloquent, articulate, mal-intentioned, deceiving, liar. Fortunately, time will tell us which it is. Ignoramus concerning the role of the chief executive or cunning liar.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It seems fair he is making promises to the American people and so many of them are uneducated it would be good to have someone compile all his promises so the voters can see how wrong they voted for the next go round.

Fair to me. There should be a LOT more accountability by our government & corporate heads.

Fair, indeed. Next, I want to see all public records on the internet. Currently, a record can be public but you will still probably have to beg, travel hundreds of miles or file a Freedom of Information Act request to see it.

I think it's fair. Why not keep on top of all the promises made and the ones they keep or don't keep? I think we need to hold our politicians more responsible than we have in the past. This guy got in too easily on promises we know he can never keep! I agree; he is a true patriot! He believes in keeping their nose to the grind stone. And if they don't do the job, let the public know! Good for him!

Fair it is. I hope plenty of people discover this web site or start ones similar concerning other political leaders.
