how old is your ipod?

hi all!
most of us own ipods because ipods are some of the best (for most of us) mp3 players on the planet.
in my case, i have a first-generation iPod Nano that i bought second-hand (1 year old i think) from my bestfriend in early 2007. so i think it's now around 2.5 to 3 years old. and it's still working fine and reliable, except for the battery which probably lasts for 6-8 hours instead of the original 12-14 hours. but i think it's still great.
how about you guys? if you have ipods, what's your ipod type and how long have you had yours?

mine is a few weeks old. i recieved my ipod touch for christmas and it's great! it's a 4th generation 8gb. i'm worried i'll run out of space when i start adding more things to it.

I just bought an Ipod Classic yesterday afternoon. That was a big goal of mine. I had originally wanted a Ipod Touch, but decided with the help of my niece and daughter that it was best that I get the classic because if I got a touch, it wouldn't do what I need it to do, so for me, that is best. If they ever have a Ipod Touch that allows you to get your email without dealing with a outside connection. I'd be first in line for that. Oh well.
