making extra money with online stock trading?

hi all! with the current economic crisis worldwide, people are turning to additional sources of income. some do online stuff such as PTCs, PTRs and PTPs. some do online freelance work. and some do online stock trading. i've tried online stock trading during the stock market boom of 2006 and early 2007, but pulled out when the subprime mortgage crisis of late 2007 and the global recession of 2008 started. but i'm hoping to enter again when the global recession starts to fizzle and recovery starts. how about you guys? have you ever tried online stock trading as a source of additional income?
